Garlic AKA JuJu Drum is a professional musician\, private instructor\, music educator\, author\, band director\, music director\, clinician\, adjudicator\, teaching artist\, and entrepreneur. Born in Washington\, DC\, JuJu relocated to Norfolk\, VA in 1988 to study music education at Norfolk State University as a percussionist. JuJu has performed with many major acts throughout his career\, including Stevie Wonder\, Albertina Walker\, Donna Summer\, Chris Vadala (Chuck Mangione)\, and as an opening act for Earth\, Wind\, and Fire.\nThis performance is made possible through the generosity of Arts for Learning Virginia and is funded in part by the citizens of Virginia Beach through a grant from the City of Virginia Beach Cultural Affairs\nBring a pumpkin creation\nShow off your fall spirit by bringing a carved jack-o’-lantern or decorated pumpkin to enter in our Pumpkin Competition!
