BCL is launching a Welcome Committee to warmly greet new neighbors with baskets full of thoughtful goodies; freebies from trusted local businesses, helpful neighborhood information, and treats to make moving in a little easier. Moving can be overwhelming, and these welcome baskets are a wonderful way to break the ice and build connections right from the start!

We need volunteers to help brainstorm, canvas local businesses, plan the delivery process, and share their ideas for making new neighbors feel at home. Ideas might include local restaurant gift cards, area maps, cleaning supplies, or personalized welcome notes. The first meeting will be Tuesday, January 20 at 6:15p.m., 5345 Stewart Drive.
