Join the Brigadoon Civic League for our next community meeting on Saturday, May 16 at 10:00 AM at Brigadoon Pines Park.

We’re excited to welcome a special guest from Evelyn’s Wildlife Refuge, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, dedicated to rehabilitating injured and orphaned wildlife native to Virginia.

They will share practical tips on how to safely help wildlife that find themselves in suburban environments. From what to do (and what not to do) when you encounter injured or displaced animals, to understanding how we can better coexist with local wildlife, this is a great opportunity to learn something new. They’ll also be bringing along a few furry (and possibly feathered) friends for an up-close experience.

In addition to our guest presentation, we’ll be discussing plans for the upcoming Brigadoon Patriotic Parade on June 27, including ways to get involved, volunteer opportunities, and event updates.

Be sure to bring a chair, and come enjoy a relaxed, informative morning with neighbors.
