One World Beats at the Community Cookout
Brigadoon Civic League is pleased to welcome One World Beats to kick off our Annual Community Cookout!
Everyone in the Virginia Beach community is invited to enjoy an afternoon of food, music, and family fun at Brigadoon Pines Park. From 11 a.m. to noon, father-and-son duo JuJu Drum and Gary “G” Garlic Jr. will bring lively percussion, music, and movement to the cookout.
For more than a decade, One World Beats has performed throughout Hampton Roads, sharing an energetic mix of rhythms, audience participation, and musical fun for all ages. Both performers are experienced music instructors with backgrounds in a variety of percussion styles, and their performances encourage audiences to listen, move, and take part.
