Brigadoon Civic League is seeking local artists to contribute original designs for permanent information kiosks that will be installed in Brigadoon Pines Park and Brigadoon Woods Park, two of the community’s most heavily visited public spaces.
Selected artwork will be featured as a large-scale vinyl wrap applied to the doors and back panels of each kiosk. In addition, the back panel design will also be reproduced as a fabric print for display inside the kiosk over the cork.
Artists are asked to submit their concepts using the provided templates to ensure proper sizing and layout. Initial submissions do not need to be final artwork, drafts, mockups, or clearly communicated concepts are welcome. Artists whose designs are selected will be invited to refine and submit final, production-ready files.
Submission Details:
- Eligibility: Open to Hampton Roads–based artists only
- Entry Fee: None
- Submission Limit: Up to five designs per artist
- Format: Concepts or draft designs using provided templates
- Subject: All subjects and styles welcome.
- Deadline: August 14, 2026
Design Selection Process:
- A committee will select the top 4 designs to advance to a neighborhood vote.
- The neighborhood will then choose 2 final designs, one for each kiosk.
- Final design must be submitted in print-ready format.
- Each artist will receive a $595 payment upon delivery of the final template and acceptance by the printer.
